Smooth or woodgrain HardiePlank: comparing the finish

Review smooth and woodgrain appearances on physical samples or project drawings under the proposed coating. Confirm the exact profile and installation requirements separately so a texture choice does not replace a complete cladding specification.
Define the selection
Work from the selected system and elevation drawings. Record the nominated material and the compatible support, fixing and accessory requirements, then ask the designer or manufacturer to resolve any detail that differs from the published arrangement.
Check before comparing products
- Texture, profile and coating choice.
- Matching corners, trims and accessories.
- Board layout and current installation guide.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
