Planning acoustics for a garage gaming room

Treat a garage gaming-room proposal as a new design brief. Discuss noise leaving the room, sound within it and the proposed wall and ceiling construction before selecting blankets or boards. This is planning guidance, not a completed MY META project.
Define the selection
Separate the intended room outcome from the product label. Ask which test, assembly or mounting information is relevant to the design, and have the room-specific arrangement checked by a suitably qualified adviser.
Check before comparing products
- Noise source and adjoining spaces.
- Room enclosure and service openings.
- Specified lining and insulation assembly.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
