Multi-performance plasterboards: matching the brief

List the performance requirements that apply together in the same wall or ceiling. Ask which documented assembly and product combination addresses that list, rather than assuming a multi-performance label permits substitutions throughout a project.
Define the selection
Confirm the application using the current manufacturer documentation. Keep the lining, framing, accessories and intended finish together in the specification so the material schedule can be checked as a whole.
Check before comparing products
- Required combination of properties.
- Documented board and assembly selection.
- Fixings, joints and finishing compatibility.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
