Coastal façades and interiors: selection questions

State the site's exposure clearly when asking about coastal material choices. Review the whole system, including fixings and finishes, and seek written product-specific guidance rather than assuming a coastal appearance demonstrates suitability.
Define the selection
Work from the selected system and elevation drawings. Record the nominated material and the compatible support, fixing and accessory requirements, then ask the designer or manufacturer to resolve any detail that differs from the published arrangement.
Check before comparing products
- Site exposure and project specification.
- Fastener and accessory compatibility.
- Finish and maintenance documentation.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
