Ceiling transitions: planning junctions and levels

Mark every change in ceiling material, height or direction on the reflected ceiling plan. Resolve the perimeter and service details before ordering so the materials on either side of a transition can be installed as a coordinated arrangement.
Define the selection
Treat the tile, grid, perimeter and service layout as one coordinated ceiling selection. Verify local product codes and current technical requirements; a similar overseas product name or nominal size is not sufficient for an order.
Check before comparing products
- Changes of material and level.
- Perimeter and junction profiles.
- Lights, services and access panels.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
