Acoustic lining choices for a home office

Acoustic lining choices for a home office — MY META project note

Describe the work-from-home problem in practical terms: calls, household activity, room echo or noise reaching another space. Ask for a coordinated room solution and define how the proposed lining fits that solution. No particular outcome is promised by a board name alone.

Define the selection

Separate the intended room outcome from the product label. Ask which test, assembly or mounting information is relevant to the design, and have the room-specific arrangement checked by a suitably qualified adviser.

Check before comparing products

Build a material list that can be checked

Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.

Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
