Choosing insulation R-values for a home

Use the home's project assessment, location and construction when selecting insulation R-values. Ask the assessor to identify the required products and complete assemblies, then turn those selections into a separate quantity schedule for each area.
Define the selection
Keep the product comparison linked to the project assessment. Ask for the current datasheet and installation guide for the exact code being considered; a catalogue selection is not a substitute for a coordinated building specification.
Check before comparing products
- Project assessment and local conditions.
- Required performance for each building element.
- Product dimensions and actual pack coverage.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
