Standard and water-resistant plasterboard: selection notes

Separate the room's intended use from the sheet's appearance when comparing standard and water-resistant boards. Ask which product is specified for each location and how the surrounding joints, finish and other layers are to be completed.
Define the selection
Coordinate the lining decision with the responsible wet-area and finishing trades. Request the current installation guide for the selected product and have the project-specific interfaces confirmed before preparing quantities.
Check before comparing products
- Location-specific board specification.
- Jointing and surface-finish requirements.
- Waterproofing and service details where relevant.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
