Cladding and lining: defining the application

State whether a material is intended for an exterior or interior application before comparing products. Similar-looking sheets can have different intended uses, so check the exact product guide and the proposed system with the designer.
Define the selection
Confirm the application using the current manufacturer documentation. Keep the lining, framing, accessories and intended finish together in the specification so the material schedule can be checked as a whole.
Check before comparing products
- Interior or exterior location.
- Nominated product and system.
- Fixing, jointing and finish requirements.
Build a material list that can be checked
Record the selected product name or SKU, each required size and the quantity for each work area. Use the actual listed coverage when estimating packs or boards, and confirm the allowance with your installer. Include compatible accessories and keep a copy of the agreed selections.
Browse related building materials · Estimate material quantities · Ask MY META about your material list. Collection and freight arrangements must be confirmed separately.
